Batumbu, an MSME funding platform with funders, borrowers, and partners as its stakeholders, aimed to streamline the funding process for small businesses. The challenge was to improve the platform's user experience, particularly for funders, by simplifying registration, enhancing security, and ensuring efficient matching between borrowers and funders via partner intermediaries.

The Solutions

To address these challenges, Batumbu engaged Emveep’s Extended Team for backend development using Golang. The collaboration focused on creating a seamless experience for funders by enhancing the registration process, integrating two-factor authentication for security, improving search functionality, and adding onboarding features. The platform was also upgraded with funding commitment features to help funders identify suitable borrowers more effectively.
